Everyone has stuff. A problematic relationship, anxiety, depression, or feelings they don’t like or wish they experienced less intensely. Whether you’re working through a tough life moment, working to manage anxiety, or navigating a rough spot in a relationship, my passion is helping you find yours.
I work with clients in a genuine and nonjudgmental way and from a position of acceptance to tackle whatever challenges they’re facing.
I use an integrated and holistic approach to address your unique situation and problems. I draw from an integrated theory in my work that includes Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Logotherapy, and Transpersonal Psychology. This allows me to tailor what we do to get you to your goals. I'm a 500 hour yoga teacher and incorporate yoga, mindfulness, and meditation when clients are open to this! I'm also a Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider which helps me take a holistic approach to mental health that includes nutrition and the mind-body connection.
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, am a National Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have provided online/distance therapy since 2015.
I work successfully with issues like anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, and many more. I also enjoy working with individuals who are highly-attuned or have high sensitivity trait or "HSP".
A final note: Choosing someone to work with on your life is important...it can even feel intimidating. The single most important factor found in research on successful counseling outcomes isn't a theoretical approach - it is finding someone you “click” with!
