100 Affirmations for Self-Worth

Affirmations are a thing. What we tell ourselves matters, and since controlling the automatic thoughts is impossible (hence the word ‘automatic’), we can work to build thoughts we want, beliefs we want, and to balance out what thoughts we have floating around.

 

Affirmations work best as part of a journaling routine but saying them and reading them is good too! Doing all 3 is a triple threat. The language here is, “I am,” because the more we believe a thing is true, the better it works. “I can,” is great, but “am” is already here, now, and happening!


Try choosing 1-5 of these and working them into your daily journaling by writing each one while repeating it to yourself. Get creative and turn your favorite into a chant while you workout or a song you sing in the shower!

Self-Acceptance

1.    I am worthy of love and acceptance, just as I am.

2.    My worth is not determined by the opinions of others.

3.    I give myself permission to embrace who I am.

4.    I honor my journey and the person I am becoming.

9.    My value is not defined by my past mistakes.

10.I am proud of my unique qualities.

Self-Love

11.I deserve to treat myself with kindness and respect.

12.I choose to believe in my intrinsic value.

13.My flaws do not define me; my strengths uplift me.

14.I am a beautiful, worthy, and capable person.

15.Loving myself is an act of courage and strength.

16.I allow myself to feel proud of who I am.

17.My heart is full of love for myself and others.

18.I am deserving of self-compassion and care.

19.My love for myself grows stronger every day.

20.I am my own biggest cheerleader.

Inner Strength

21.I have survived every challenge so far; I can handle this too.
